Our First Apartment

Our 40th anniversary is Sept. 2, 2012. This house, the attic, was our first apartment. I moved in in '71. The rent was $70/month plus $1 for trash pickup. The car out front was my 2nd car, a '56 Ford. My grandma bought it for me. My wife was driving it and the hood blew up in the air and messed it up bad. I ended up giving it to a friend for a couple hamburgers. The house isn't there anymore. There's a police department building and parking lot there now. I have a brick from the house my mom stopped and picked up when they were tearing it down.
